We are looking for an Operational Development Manager to join Saab in Karlskoga, eager to develop working methods, processes, and results together with the business. In this role, you will hold a central position where you combine analysis, structure, and collaboration to create long-term improvements.

Your Role

As an Operational Development Manager, you will drive and develop the business through structured improvement initiatives. You will identify areas for improvement, analyze the current state, and lead change management from idea to implementation.

You will work closely with managers and teams within the organization, acting as a support in developing working methods, processes, and methodologies, always with a focus on creating measurable and sustainable results. The work is often project- or assignment-based, where you independently drive initiatives forward in collaboration with various parts of the business.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Driving improvement and change initiatives within the business
• Analyzing processes and working methods, for example through feasibility studies and value stream analysis
• Identifying development opportunities and developing concrete solutions
• Leading and facilitating workshops, training sessions, and working meetings
• Supporting managers in implementing changes
• Ensuring that improvements are followed up and deliver the desired effect
• Developing and standardizing processes, methods, and tools
• Collaborating with other functions and contributing to larger initiatives

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with experience in business development who thrives in a role where you drive change together with others. You have the ability to understand complex operations, identify improvement opportunities, and translate them into concrete initiatives that make a difference in daily life.

You are analytical and structured, but also pragmatic; you get things done. At the same time, you are a confident communicator who can tailor your message to different target groups and create engagement in change management.

To succeed in this role, we expect you to:

• Have experience driving improvement or change management work
• Be accustomed to analyzing processes and identifying development opportunities
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate broadly within the organization
• Take initiative and drive work forward in an independent and structured manner
• Have the ability to complete assignments and ensure that initiatives lead to concrete and sustainable results

The position requires that you undergo and pass security clearance according to regulations valid at the time. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, where applicable, entail requirements for specific citizenship.
